Vampires, werewolves, and Sims in the Military can spar to level up their fitness and fighting skills.
Sparring for Military Sims
If your Sim is in the Military, sparring is part of their daily routine. Doing it helps them improve fitness and fighting abilities, and it’s required to earn promotions.
To spar with another Sim, go to Friendly interactions and pick Spar With Others. You can only spar with Sims your Sim has a good relationship with. Sometimes the option is hidden deep in the menu, so you might have to scroll or cycle through a couple of times.
You can also spar alone using a fitness machine, which works just as well for boosting skills.
Sparring With Other Werewolves
Werewolves can spar to improve their fighting and fitness skills. The easiest spot to do this is the Sparring Grounds near the Portal Pottys. Just select Spar With, pick the werewolf you want to spar with, and try to win.
You don’t have to stick to that spot, though. Any outdoor area with enough space can become a sparring pit. You can also use the Werewolf menu to start a sparring session.
Your werewolf needs to be at least acquaintances or friends with the other werewolf for sparring to work. Fitness skill matters a lot here. You’ll have a better chance of winning if your werewolf is strong.
Even if your werewolf loses, don’t worry. Every sparring session counts toward leveling up their fitness, so losing still helps them get stronger.
Sparring With Other Vampires
Once your vampire reaches a high enough level, they can spar with other vampires.
To start, go to the Friendly menu and choose the Spar option. Keep in mind, you can only spar with vampires in the same age group.
When vampires spar, it’s pretty dramatic. Bats circle overhead, purple shockwaves flash, and sometimes your vampire will lift the other one into the air and throw them down.
If things are tense between vampires, you can skip the friendly stuff and pick Vampiric Duel from the Mean menu. Those are full-on fights and definitely not for improving friendship.
Happy Simming!
