In The Sims 4, the “Set as Head” cheat lets you literally replace your Sim’s head with any object. Your Sim will walk around with a giant version of that object on their shoulders.
How to Use “Set as Head”
- Enable the Cheat Console.
- Press CTRL, Shift, and C, then type testingcheats true
- Hold Shift and click an object.
- Select Set as Head.
Your Sim will now have that object as their head. The object itself still works normally. You can click it and interact with it just like before.
Removing a “Set as Head” Object
If you want your Sim’s normal head back:
- Shift-click the object on their head.
- Select Reset Object (Debug).
The object will drop to the floor, and your Sim goes back to normal. This is also handy if the object was acting buggy.
Practical Uses
Fixing broken objects
If an object isn’t working in Live or Build Mode, set it as your Sim’s head, reset it, shrink it with the left square bracket key, then pick it up. It should work again.
Decorating lots
Setting objects as heads can make plants or furniture enormous for fun decoration.
Selling for extra Simoleons
Objects set as heads sell for 30-40% more than usual, so it’s a quirky way to make money.
Pure Fun
Of course, the cheat is hilarious on its own. Imagine a Sim walking around with a toilet or a giant plant on their head. Or any other object for that matter.
