If your Sim wants to pursue acting or join a drama club, performing dramatic scenes or monologues is a key requirement. They can either act out a scene with another Sim or deliver a solo monologue.
Requirements to Perform Dramatic Scenes
Your Sim needs Level 10 in the Acting skill to unlock dramatic interactions. Sims below that level won’t have the option to perform a dramatic scene or monologue, and they can’t convince other Sims to practice with them.
Until then, your Sim should keep practicing in front of a mirror or a microphone to gradually level up their acting level.
How to Level Up Acting
⇒ Get Confident: Brush their teeth or do other actions that give the Confident buff to make acting practice more effective.
⇒ Practice Regularly: Rehearse in front of a mirror or microphone.
⇒ Read Acting Books: Skill books accelerate acting gains.
⇒ Use Special Objects: At Level 4, your Sim can unlock the Trouper’s Look Glass, a mirror that boosts skill progress faster.
At Level 6, they can practice action scenes, preparing them for more advanced performances.
Once your Sim reaches Level 10, they can perform any scene, including dramatic monologues, and fully show off their acting abilities.
Quick Cheat Method
If you want to skip the grind, open the Cheat Console and enter: stats.set_skill_level major_acting 10
