Satisfaction Points are what let you unlock rewards like new traits and useful potions from the Rewards Store.
You earn Satisfaction Points by completing aspiration milestones and fulfilling short-term whims.
The more tasks and whims your Sim completes, the more points pile up, and you can spend them in the Rewards Store on things like new traits or potions that fill needs and grant buffs instantly.
Matching your Sim’s traits and skills to their aspiration makes tasks go faster, which means more Satisfaction Points in less time.
For example, if your Sim is working on the Friend of the World aspiration, giving them Cheerful and Outgoing traits helps a lot.
Pair that with leveling up their Charisma skill, and they’ll build a social circle much faster than a Sim without those traits.
The general idea: build your Sim around their aspiration instead of against it, and progress speeds up naturally.
If you’d rather skip the grind, cheats can add Satisfaction Points directly.
Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat console.
Type testingcheats true and press Enter to enable cheats.
Type sims.give_satisfaction_points followed by the amount you want.
For example, to get 1,000 points instantly:
sims.give_satisfaction_points 1000
How Many Satisfaction Points Can You Get?
There’s no hard cap. The total depends entirely on how many aspirations and whims your Sim completes over their lifetime. Each full aspiration typically nets somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 Satisfaction Points.
Since aspirations are essentially unlimited as long as your Sim keeps living, there’s no fixed ceiling on how many points you can accumulate.
Observant
It’s the trait that reveals a Sim’s personality traits faster during conversations, and tons of players get it first so they can spot kleptomaniacs, goofballs, and other “problem” Sims early, or to speed up matchmaking and romance.
Always Welcome
The Always Welcome trait lets a Sim cook, sleep over, or otherwise use another household’s home without being treated as “inappropriate.”
Popular with people who play rotationally or with extended families.
Steel Bladder
If you're just tired of the “gotta pee” walk cycle and want to stop worrying about bathroom needs, especially during skill grinding, this is the best choice for you.
Storm Chaser / Waterproof
Both traits stop Sims from panicking and running around screaming during thunderstorms or getting uncomfortable in the rain.
Free Services
Fee nanny, gardener, and maid, popular with players who don’t want to micromanage kids or gardens
Never Weary / Seldom Sleepy
These traits reduce or remove the need for sleep.
There are two realistic paths here:
Keep your Sim from aging up. A Sim that never advances in age can keep completing aspirations and whims indefinitely, which means points keep flowing without ever running out.
Use cheats. The sims.give_satisfaction_points command works as many times as you want.
