Teenage Sims can get into plenty of trouble at Copperdale High. If your Sim has a mischievous side, you can have them prank the school in several different ways.
They can draw on the whiteboard, mess with the school’s PA system, or hide stink capsules inside other Sims’ lockers. Successfully pulling off these pranks can also help your Sim build their Mischief skill.
The problem is that getting caught comes with consequences. Your Sim can get detention, and their relationships with other Sims can suffer.
Your Sim can prank the whiteboard at Copperdale High once class is over.
Click on the whiteboard and select Prank Whiteboard. Your Sim will then draw something silly on it.
The prank can get a reaction from the other students, but the teachers and Principal Prescott aren’t going to be impressed.
If your Sim wants to maintain a good reputation at school, make sure nobody catches them in the act.
How to Prank Lockers With Stink Capsules
Stink capsules are another way for teenage Sims to cause trouble at school.
Click on another Sim’s locker and select Stink Capsule. Your Sim will place the capsule inside the locker, and the prank will trigger when the other Sim opens it.
This is particularly useful if you’re playing a Sim who is building their Mischief skill and doesn’t mind making a few enemies along the way.
Just be careful. Stink capsules aren’t completely harmless. A prankster can potentially get caught in the resulting stink cloud and die.
How to Prank the High School PA System
Your Sim can also mess with Copperdale High’s PA system.
Click on the PA system and select the appropriate prank interaction. Your Sim can then broadcast a message throughout the school.
It’s another way to cause chaos without directly targeting another student’s locker.
Of course, Principal Prescott isn’t going to let the prankster get away with it if they’re caught.
Getting caught is the main risk of pulling pranks at school.
If your Sim is caught while pranking, they’ll get detention. That’s time your Sim could have spent hanging out with their friends, improving their skills, or doing their homework.
Getting caught can also hurt your Sim’s relationships. Other Sims may be less willing to trust a Sim who keeps pulling pranks on them.
So if you’re going for an actual troublemaker storyline, the consequences can be part of the fun. If your Sim is trying to maintain good relationships with their classmates, though, you’ll want to be more careful.
The safest approach is to pay attention to what’s happening around your Sim before starting a prank.
Don’t immediately start pranking everyone in sight if your goal is to avoid detention. Keep an eye on teachers, the principal, and other Sims nearby.
You should also remember that not every prank has the same consequences. A whiteboard prank is different from putting a stink capsule in another Sim’s locker, and messing with the PA system can attract the attention of the school staff.
