Acne is one of the features added with The Sims 4: High School Years. Teenage Sims can develop breakouts, and you can take steps to manage their acne while they’re still teens.
If your Sim ages up to a young adult with acne, you won’t find an option in Create a Sim to simply remove or hide it. The Apply Facial Cleanser interaction also becomes unavailable after your Sim ages up.
You can remove persistent acne by turning off the acne setting for High School Years.
While in Live Mode, open Game Options and go to Pack Settings. Scroll down to High School Years and turn off the acne option.
Apply the new settings and return to Live Mode. You don’t need to save your game or restart it.
The acne should disappear from your Sim’s face.
If it doesn’t disappear immediately, have your Sim Freshen Up or take a shower. This can help clear the acne after you’ve disabled the setting.
Can Adult Sims Get Rid of Acne in CAS?
There isn’t an acne removal or conceal option in Create a Sim for adult Sims who have aged up with persistent acne.
If your Sim has already become a young adult with acne, use the High School Years acne setting in Live Mode instead.
How to Prevent Acne on Teenage Sims
Teenage Sims can develop acne as part of the High School Years gameplay.
You can have your Sim wash their face regularly to help manage breakouts. The Apply Facial Cleanser interaction is available through a mirror while your Sim is a teenager.
Once your Sim ages up, that interaction is no longer available.
