Pomegranate in The Sims 4: Where & How to Get It

If you are trying to get pomegranates in The Sims 4, you have a few fun paths you can take, and none of them feel too complicated once you know where to look.

Option 1: Cast a Line

A lot of players get their first pomegranate by fishing. Head over to Magnolia Blossom Park and have your Sim cast a line. Pomegranate seeds show up there pretty often. You usually do not have to grind for long before one appears in your inventory.

Option 2: Buy Pomegranate

If you have City Living, the produce stalls around the city can sell pomegranates outright.

If you own Cottage Living, the stall in Henford-on-Bagley also carries them sometimes, though its stock changes often, so you might have to check back.

You can also buy a pomegranate directly from Michael Bell, aka the Creature Keeper, for 150 Simoleons.

When the stalls do not work out, grafting ends up being the reliable way to get a pomegranate tree going.

Option 3: Graft Pomegranate

You can also grow your own tree through grafting. Once your Sim reaches level 5 in Gardening, combine an apple plant with a cherry plant. The result is a pomegranate tree.

After it starts producing, you can harvest the fruit, keep it for later, or sell it for a small profit. Each pomegranate sells for four Simoleons.

From the moment you plant a pomegranate tree, it takes about 72 in-game hours to start producing fruit, as long as your Sim stays on the same lot the whole time.

Option 4: Buy Rare Seeds

Sometimes you will get pomegranate seeds from rare seed packets when you open them.

Pomegranate, Seasons, and Snowy Escape

Seasons can change how this all looks. With the Seasons pack installed, pomegranate trees bloom during winter.

If you also play with Snowy Escape, you can spot a pomegranate tree near the mountain peak.

⇒ Quick Tip:

  • There is a neat extra trick tied to pomegranates, too. If you graft a pomegranate with an orchid, you can grow a Death Flower, which is one of the rarest plants in the game.

Happy Simming!
