How Obsidian Eggs Twist Your Sims Into Evil Versions

Eating an Obsidian Egg in The Sims 4 is an instant invitation to chaos. These special eggs transform your Sims into fire-starting, red-eyed agents of mischief.

By the way, you need the Cottage Living expansion pack to get your hands on Obsidian Eggs.

What Obsidian Eggs Do in The Sims 4

If your Sim eats a dish made with an obsidian egg, they’ll instantly become evil and get an Evil Glare that can set objects on fire.

The fire-starting ability can cause chaos, and you need to put those fires out before they cause major damage.

Evil Sims will start being mean to other Sims on their own, trying to make them feel bad. These hostile interactions can quickly damage friendships or even spark rivalries.

But don’t panic because this evil phase won’t last forever.

Keep your Evil Sim away from other Sims, and they should start feeling better soon, no longer wanting to do evil things. They’ll also snap out of their evil mood in a couple of hours.

How to Get Obsidian Eggs

To get Obsidian eggs, turn one of your adult hens into an Evil Hen. You can do this by giving them the Midnight Treat or hatching an Obsidian egg.

Evil hens will keep producing Obsidian Eggs, which means the chaos doesn’t stop after the first batch.  Once you turn a chicken evil, your coop becomes a steady source of these eggs.

Keep your Evil Hens happy, because they don’t take mistreatment lightly. Upset them, and they can actually kill your Sims.

An evil chicken can be an asset on your farm. Their scary aura can ward off the Grim Reaper, vampires, and other threats, keeping your Sims and coop safe. They also give other chickens longer lives, too.

Happy Simming!
