In Sims 4 Cottage Living, you can whip up a bunch of new recipes and treats for both yourself and your animals.
To make all these recipes and treats, you’ll need to head to The Bramblewood neighborhood and venture into the woods to forage the ingredients.
Many players are struggling to find blueberries and raspberries for making jams and animal treats. Let’s find out where you can get these ingredients.
⇒ Quick Solution: You can simply buy blueberries and raspberries from the Finchwick Fair.
How to Get Blueberries and Raspberries in The Sims 4
To get blueberries and raspberries in Sims 4 Cottage Living, you’ll need to harvest them from the woods.
Look for raspberry and blueberry bushes near the ruins in the Bramblewood neighborhood.
You can find raspberry bushes near picnic tables and a grill by the lake, and inside Old New Henford’s community garden.
Be on the Bramblewood lot by 5 AM, as the plants are usually ready to harvest at 6 AM.
These plants won’t grow unless you’re in the area, so make sure to stick around for a bit. Otherwise, they’ll stay in the dirt pile stage.
Even if a plant has sprouted, you still need to be physically present in the area and wait until 6 AM for the Harvest option to become available.
If you own Seasons, you can harvest blueberries in the summer and raspberries in the winter.
Using Cheats to Manipulate Plant Growth
If you want to speed up the growth process and harvest berries faster in Sims 4 Cottage Living, you can use cheats.
Simply shift-click the plant and edit its growth state. For instance, you can set the growth stage to blooming. Then, wait until 6 AM to harvest it.
Buying Raspberries and Blueberries from the Grocery Shop
If you’re having trouble finding raspberries and blueberries in Sims 4 Cottage Living, you can purchase them from the grocery store in Finchwick.
Keep in mind that raspberries and blueberries may not always be available for purchase. Kim Goldbloom, the owner of the grocery shop, changes her offerings depending on the day.
This means you might need to visit her shop multiple times before finding raspberries and blueberries in stock.
Growing Your Own Berries in The Sims 4
To always have raspberries and blueberries on hand, head to the Garden Shop and buy raspberry and blueberry seeds.
Plant these seeds in your garden, water them often, and look after the young plants. When the berries are ripe, you can pick them yourself.
⇒ Bonus Tip:
- Give your llamas special berry-based treats to change their wool color.
Happy Simming!
