If you do not feel like grinding friendly chats for hours, a few simple cheats can turn your Sim into everyone’s best friend in no time. Before you start, it is always smart to back up your save, just in case.
The Quickest Way to Gain Friends
The fastest method by far is using relationship cheats. These let you skip the slow buildup and go straight to friendship.
Turning Cheats On
To open the cheat console, press Ctrl, Shift, and C on PC. On Mac, use Command, Shift, and C. Once the console opens, type testingcheats true and hit Enter.
Instantly Adding Friends
If you want brand new friends added to your Sim’s life, use the relationships.create_friends_for_sim cheat.
Each time you enter it, the game generates new Sims who already have a friendship with yours.
You can also use relationship.introduce_sim_to_all_others to instantly introduce your Sim to everyone nearby, which makes building relationships even faster.
Adjusting Friendship Levels Manually
If you already have a specific Sim in mind, you can directly change how strong the friendship is.
Use the ModifyRelationship cheat and enter both Sims’ names along with a number. Higher numbers mean a stronger friendship. Setting the value to 100 will usually make them good friends right away.
Use the following cheat: ModifyRelationship [SimAFirstName] [SimALastName] [SimBFirstName] [SimBLastName] AMOUNT LTR_Friendship_Main
Your command should look something like this: ModifyRelationship Eliza Pancakes Nancy Landgraab 100 LTR_Friendship_Main
