To show off the chickens you’ve raised, bring them to the Finchwick Chicken Fair. Place them in the booth for other Sims to admire.
If your chickens disappear after the fair, don’t worry. Your chickens aren’t lost, and the game isn’t bugged. You can get them back!
Locating Your Chickens After the Finchwick Festival
When the Finchwick festival ends, and you go home, the game automatically puts your chickens in your household inventory. In Sims 4 Cottage Living, chickens are considered simple in-game items.
When you return to your farm, you won’t see them in the coop or your personal inventory right away. You won’t have the option to assign them to the coop or anything.
Players often panic when they can’t find their chickens after the festival.
That’s because there’s no way to remove the chickens from the booth after the festival ends.
As a result, the game automatically puts them in your household inventory.
So, if other animals vanish after the Cottage Living festival ends, check your household inventory. They should be there.
Also, if you’re moving to a new lot and want to take your animals with you, move them all into your inventory first. Then, when you move to your new farm, transfer them from your inventory to an empty shed.
Happy Simming!
