Sims Have Tiger Stripes on Their Bodies Due to This Disease

If your Sim has tiger stripes on their body, it means they have the Itchy Plumbob disease. This illness makes your Sim itchy, and they might get random bursts of laughter. To cure it, buy medicine from your computer and have your Sim take it as soon as you see symptoms.

Your Sim can also sleep to get better. They’ll get a moodlet boost for using home remedies. Brewing green tea is another way to help them fight the illness. Naps and hot drinks are natural ways to recover from various illnesses.

Don’t worry, the Itchy Plumbob illness isn’t fatal and will eventually go away.

The Itchy Plumbob illness, which causes the tiger stripes, is part of the Get to Work expansion pack. It is not available in the base game or other expansion packs.

The tiger stripes only appear in live mode and not in Create-a-Sim (CAS), which is why you might not see them while customizing your Sim.

The Itchy Plumbob illness is temporary and does not have any long-term negative effects on your Sim’s health or lifespan.

The presence of tiger stripes does not impact the gameplay or your Sim’s abilities. It’s purely a cosmetic change linked to the illness.

Babies and toddlers can also get Itchy Plumbob, but it’s quite rare.

  • Quick Tip: Itchy Plumbob is different from Sweaty Shivers because it has a rash and stripes, but no fever.

Happy Simming!
