In Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff, haunted houses aren’t tied to specific locations. Instead, any house can become haunted with the Haunted House Residential lot trait.
This trait can transform any ordinary house into a spooky house.
So, if you’ve ever dreamed of living in a haunted house, you can make it happen anywhere in the game!
Enable the Haunted House Residential Lot Trait
To bring some spooky vibes to your house in The Sims 4, follow these simple steps:
- Enter Build Mode: Open the build mode in the game.
- Edit Lot Type Settings: While in build mode, locate the lot type settings for your house.
- Select Haunted House Residential: From the lot type options, choose “Haunted House Residential.”
Once you’ve selected the Haunted House Residential lot trait, your house and backyard will be open to spooks and specters.
Make sure you choose the Haunted House lot type, not the Spooky lot trait.
While the Spooky trait encourages ghosts to hang around your house, the Haunted House lot type actually invites them to live there.
There’s More
You can activate the Haunted House trait on community lots as well. Once enabled, the lot will transform, losing its original features, and townies will no longer frequent the area.
Guidry, a friendly ghost, will become your guide in the paranormal realm. He’ll offer crucial insights to help you navigate the world of specters.
Each night, various ghosts will visit your haunted house. Be cautious, as not all of them are friendly. Watch out for red ghosts, they tend to be hostile and aggressive.
Surviving a night in a haunted house is no easy feat. To reward your Sims’ bravery, they’ll earn 125 reward store points for each night endured.
If you dare to increase the activity level to heroic, you’ll receive an impressive 250 points per night.
Happy Simming!
