The Graduation Ceremony in The Sims 4: High School Years takes place after your teenage Sim ages up into a Young Adult. The ceremony is held at Copperdale Auditorium on Sunday at 6 PM and is an invitation-only event.
You can follow your Young Adult Sim to the ceremony and interact with other Sims attending the event.
Principal Prescott hands out the diplomas, officially marking the end of your Sim’s high school years. Your Sim will also wear a graduation cap and gown during the ceremony.
There is food and punch available at the back of the auditorium, too.
Once your Sim receives and accepts their invitation, they can start preparing for graduation.
They can choose a new outfit for the occasion or visit the ThriftTea thrift shop to put together something special.
Your Sim can also invite family members and friends to the ceremony and buy gifts for their classmates and teachers.
Valedictorian Sims get to give a speech at the end of the Graduation Ceremony.
Your Sim needs to be a straight-A student to become Valedictorian.
To improve their chances of becoming a straight-A student, make sure they attend their classes, complete their homework, do extra credit when available, and study for exams.
Not every Sim gets a graduation invitation.
Sims who drop out of high school, graduate early, or don’t meet the requirements for graduation won’t attend the ceremony.
The Graduation Ceremony is optional, too. If your Sim receives an invitation but doesn’t want to attend, they can simply skip the event.
