If your Sim loves parties and has the Party Animal aspiration, they’ll definitely enjoy getting to throw one last big celebration before they pass away.
If you want your Sim to leave their virtual world happy, you can let them enjoy a little romance in their final days. Just don’t overdo it because elderly Sims can actually die from too much woohoo.
Passing Down Valuable Items to Kids
You might also want to pass important items down to their children before your Sim dies.
If their kids live in the same household, you can move valuable objects from your Sim’s inventory into theirs. This way, those special items stay in the family even after your Sim is gone.
You can also let your Sim spend their last days doing whatever makes them happy. Giving them the freedom to enjoy themselves is a nice way to say goodbye.
They might end up dancing, wandering around, or just hanging out with family and friends.
Keep in mind that unexpected deaths won’t give your Sim a chance to get their affairs in order. This only happens for Sims who pass away from old age. After all, aging is a privilege.
If you’d rather help your Sims stay healthy and strong later in life, you can try completing the Bodybuilder aspiration, which gives them a special reward that helps them live longer.
Or, if you prefer, you can simply turn off aging entirely so your Sims never grow old. That way, they can stay young forever.
