Your Sims will spend a big chunk of their lives doing homework, from grade school to high school and even in University if you have the Discover University expansion pack. Let’s speed things up!
Help Children Finish Homework Quickly
To help children finish homework faster, have an adult assist them. Keep in mind that older kids complete their homework more quickly than younger ones.
Use the Get Help From option to ask an older Sim for help. It’s especially useful if your Sim struggles with certain subjects or skill levels.
Alternatively, you can use the Do Homework With option to work on homework alongside a friend of the same age. They can collaborate, and share ideas. It makes homework more enjoyable and can help Sims complete it faster than doing it alone.
Kids with the Genius trait also complete their homework faster.
Children finish homework faster when they’re in a good mood. Cheer them up, and once they’re happy, homework will go more quickly.
When a child Sim reaches level 3 in all four child skills (Mental, Creativity, Social, Motor) they unlock the special Breeze Through Homework ability, letting them finish their homework much faster.
Reaching level 7 in all child skills unlocks the “Dominate Homework” option, the fastest homework choice in The Sims 4. This option is only available to children.
Listening to music while doing homework doesn’t make it go faster, but it prevents the Fun bar from dropping, which is very helpful.
Help College Students Complete Their Homework Faster
In Sims 4 Discover University, having a special Study Spot and high Logic and Debate and Research skills can help your Sims finish homework in no time.
Build a dedicated Study Spot helps Sims finish homework faster. Add the Study Spot lot trait to your Sim’s house, and you’ll notice quicker homework completion.
Alternatively, visit the library, which already has the Study Spot trait to help Sims study and do homework faster.
Leveling up your Sims’ Debate and Research skills to 4 gets you a 25% homework speed bonus. Level 6 also speeds up studying, preparing presentations, and writing papers.
Keeping Sims in positive moodlets like Confident, Inspired, or Happy improves homework speed and quality.
Happy Simming!
