If you don’t want your Sim to constantly stop what they’re doing to eat, sleep, shower, or use the bathroom, you can disable their needs decay with a cheat.
Open the Cheat Console with Ctrl + Shift + C and enter:
testingcheats true
Then Shift + click your Sim and select Cheat Need > Make Happy.
Shift-click your Sim again and select Cheat Need > Disable Needs Decay.
Your Sim’s needs will now stay where they are instead of gradually decreasing.
This works on individual Sims, so you can choose which Sims in your household should have their needs frozen.
If you want to freeze the needs of multiple Sims at once, Shift + click the mailbox and select Disable Needs Decay.
This applies the effect to the Sims in your household.
You can also use:
sims.fill_all_commodities
This instantly fills the needs of the Sims in your household, although their needs will start decreasing again afterward unless you’ve also disabled needs decay.
Freezing your Sim’s needs can make some aspirations much easier to complete.
Instead of constantly interrupting an aspiration task to deal with hunger, Bladder, Energy, or Hygiene, your Sim can focus on the objectives you actually want them to complete.
It’s particularly useful when you’re trying to finish an aspiration quickly or work through several aspirations with the same Sim.
The needs-freezing effect can reset after certain actions, such as traveling, entering Create a Sim, or closing the game.
If that happens, enable the cheat again and select Disable Needs Decay.
If the option is greyed out or doesn’t work at all, check whether your game is fully updated. If you use mods or custom content, make sure they’re updated as well.
If the problem continues, temporarily remove your Mods folder and repair the game to see if a mod is causing the issue.
