Need Bone Dust in The Sims 4? Here’s Where to Find It

Jungle Adventure throws your Sim right into danger, especially when exploring temples or wandering through Selvadorada. One of the nastier surprises is getting hit by a poisoned dart. When that happens, Bone Dust suddenly becomes very important because you need it to get an antidote.

You can find Bone Dust while exploring Selvadorada. Keep an eye out for small white dig piles scattered around the jungle. These often hide Bone Dust.

Jungle Temples are another good place to search since treasure chests sometimes contain it.

If your Sim spends enough time learning about the local culture, there is an easier option. Once they reach level 5 of the Selvadoradian Culture skill, they can buy as much Bone Dust as they want from local vendors by asking about secret merchandise.

Building that culture skill is really simple. Let your Sim eat traditional Selvadoradan food, chat with locals about their customs, and spend some time admiring the Madre Cosecha statue.

Bone Dust itself does not fix the poison issue, but it plays a key role in getting the antidote. You can trade it to a Selvadoradan Sim to get the antidote that cures poisoning.

It also has another use if your Sim gets hit with a Curse of the Ancients. In that case, Bone Dust lets them cook a special remedy that removes the curse.

If your Sim is poisoned, speed matters. After picking up Bone Dust, start talking to local Sims using friendly interactions. Eventually, the option to ask about an antidote should appear.

Not every local Sim offers this, so you might need to chat with a few people before it shows up.

There is also a backup plan if luck is not on your side. Head to the museum and use the computer to buy an antidote for 1,000 Simoleons. That clears the poison right away.

There is one more option if your Sim is really stuck and has no Bone Dust or spare Simoleons. In the Selvadorada marketplace, look for the statue of Marjorie Corcetja. Your Sim can interact with it and donate 20 Simoleons in an attempt to remove the poison.

This only works when the poison has fully taken hold. If your Sim feels a little off or has a mild negative moodlet, the statue will not help, and the donation will fail.

Getting rid of the poison quickly is important because the Poiton moodlet blocks progress inside the temple. Until your Sim is cured, exploring deeper is not an option.

Happy Simming!
