There are four body hair categories available in Create a Sim:
Arm hair
Torso hair
Leg hair
Back hair
To find them, open CAS and click on your Sim’s body, then head to the Body tab. You’ll see the body hair options sitting right between tattoos and body scars.
Each category has a handful of styles to choose from, ranging from light coverage to full, and you can adjust the color independently of your Sim’s regular hairstyle.
Facial hair lives in a separate section under the head and face options, with its own set of styles — including several beard and mustache combinations added specifically for more natural-looking teens.
If you decide your Sim’s new look isn’t for them, you can always have them shave.
To shave body hair, send your Sim to the bathroom and click on a shower or a mirror. From there, choose the type of body hair you want them to shave.
The game will play a shaving animation, and you’ll have two options: shave completely, or trim the hair down to your preferred length instead of removing it entirely.
If you own High School Years, you can also enable body hair growth.
Once enabled, your Sim’s body hair and facial hair will gradually grow back over time, meaning they’ll eventually need another shave if you want to keep their current look. It’s a small touch, but it adds a nice layer of realism to everyday Sim life.
While the body hair customization options are included in the base game, the body hair growth feature is exclusive to High School Years.
The body hair update gives you more ways to customize your Sims, whether you want a clean-shaven look or a hairier appearance.
Everyone can use the body hair customization options in the base game, but if you own High School Years, you can also enable natural body hair growth for an extra layer of realism.
