If you are getting ready to deal with vampires in The Sims 4, Wolfsbane becomes really important. These plants are used in special Mixology drinks that are designed specifically to counter vampire powers.
Wolfsbane mainly shows up in vampire related cocktails. One of the most useful drinks is the Vampire Resistance Cocktail, which helps protect your Sim from vampire abilities. You need two Wolfsbane seeds to make this special cocktail.
There is also the Ultimate Vampire Cure, which is the only way to fully cure a vampire. That drink takes a lot more effort since you need ten Wolfsbane to make it at the bar.
Where to Find Wolfsbane
Finding Wolfsbane is not too hard once you know where to look. If you have the Vampires pack, you can spot the plants growing naturally in Forgotten Hollow, especially around the Wolfsbane Manor. They bloom all year and stand out thanks to their blue purple flowers.
You can also buy the seeds through the computer, but only after building up your Vampiric Lore skill.
If you own Cottage Living, Agnes Crumplebottom sometimes sells Wolfsbane or the seeds at her stall in Finchwick, so it is worth checking when she is around.
Grow Wolfsbane
Growing Wolfsbane yourself is usually the safest option. You plant the seeds in a planter box, water them regularly, and keep them healthy by dealing with bugs and fertilizing.
Since the plant is not super common in the wild, having your own supply saves time and frustration later when you suddenly need it for a drink.
The seeds are a bit pricey at 250 Simoleons per packet. Once you get a few plants going, you can harvest them and keep expanding your garden. That makes it much easier to stay stocked.
⇒ Fun Fact:
- If a vampire actually eats Wolfsbane on its own, nothing dramatic happens. They get a small Happy moodlet for a few hours and comment that it tastes natural, though a bit bland.
Happy Simming!
