Werewolves and vampires in The Sims 4 have a pretty intense rivalry. As soon as a werewolf spots a vampire, dislike kicks in automatically from both sides.
These two occults naturally clash, and that dislike comes straight from the game’s lore.
You’ll even notice little details, such as the Wildfangs spray-painting vampire faces on punching bags to vent their anger, or scratch marks on Vlad’s portrait to make it clear he’s not welcome.
Vampires aren’t innocent either. They can drink blood from werewolves, which triggers the Disgusting Dog Water moodlet, adding a funny but gross twist to interactions.
Romance and Drama
The feud between werewolves and vampires adds a lot of drama, especially when romance is involved. It makes relationships more challenging on purpose, which makes your gameplay more engaging.
Even when a vampire and werewolf couple is created together in CAS, they still start with negative friendship, which really shows how deep that rivalry runs.
Romantic relationships can work, but the relationship bar needs to be pretty high first. If it’s too low, they will keep snapping at each other and throwing out rude interactions autonomously.
One way to make things smoother is to give the vampire the Werewolf Ally trait. That helps cut down on the hostility and makes flirting feel way less frustrating.
You Can End This Feud
The feud isn’t permanent, though. Werewolves and vampires can become friends if you handle it the right way.
When your werewolf interacts with a vampire, using the “Ask for Sympathy for Werewolves” option can smooth things over instantly. All the hostility disappears, and they can hang out without tension.
That interaction unlocks after the first werewolf level-up. Also, it gives access to the Werewolf Diplomacy ability, which is especially useful if you want to join the Moonwood Collective, since they value diplomacy highly.
From there, you can further strengthen the friendship. With enough effort, your vampire friend can become a true ally to your werewolf.
