All About Werewolf Temperaments in The Sims 4

Think of temperaments like little personality quirks that shape how your werewolf reacts to the world. They’re the reason a werewolf’s Fury spikes in some situations and stays calm in others.

When your Sim first becomes a werewolf, they usually start with one temperament. As they grow stronger and more experienced, they pick up more temperaments naturally.

You don’t get to pick temperaments directly. The game decides based on your Sim’s traits and behavior. However, you can influence your werewolf’s temperament a bit through certain actions.

If you ever feel like your Sim’s temperaments aren’t working for you, there’s the Lunar Howl ability, which lets you re-roll them at night. That can completely change how your werewolf feels and acts.

Each temperament basically tells you what makes your werewolf happy, annoyed, or furious.

Some werewolves really love being outdoors and hunting, while others hate getting wet or being disturbed when they sleep.

If your werewolf acts against one of these natural tendencies, Fury climbs.

For example, a Territorial werewolf wants their own space and will get tense around other werewolves invading their territory. A Must Be Clean werewolf will lose their cool if they get dirty.

Some temperaments control how your Sim handles being a werewolf at the top of their power.

Once they reach Apex level, they can get the Mark temperaments. These make it easier to manage Fury and reduce needs decay. For example, a Mark of the Night werewolf stays energized longer at night.

Temperaments really make each werewolf feel unique. One Sim might be frisky and playful, needing attention and company, while another is grumpy and territorial, preferring long sleeps and solitude.

Let’s go through all the werewolf temperaments in The Sims 4 and see how they shape your Sim’s behavior.
