Being a werewolf pack leader can get exhausting. You need to make sure the pack has enough resources, deal with disciplinary actions, recruit new members, and mentor packmates so they can improve their werewolf skills.

If you’re tired of being the Alpha, you don’t have to stay in charge forever. You can hand over leadership to another werewolf or lose your rank in a pack challenge.

Promote another werewolf to pack leader.

The easiest way to give up your Alpha rank is to promote another pack member.

Click on the werewolf you want to promote, open the Werewolf menu, and select the option to promote them to pack leader.

Your Sim will lose their Alpha rank and become a regular pack member.

Once you’ve been demoted, you can choose to stay with the pack or leave it completely.

If you’ve had enough of being a werewolf altogether, you can also look for the Lycanthropy Cure and turn your Sim back into a human.

Lose your Alpha rank in a pack challenge.

You can also lose your position by being defeated by another werewolf in a tug-of-war or honorable brawl for pack leadership.

If you want another werewolf to take your place, choose a strong rival and improve their Fitness skill. Once they’re powerful enough, challenge them for pack leadership.

If your Sim loses the fight, the other werewolf will become the new pack leader and your Sim will lose their Alpha rank.

You don’t have to stay Alpha forever.

Whether you voluntarily promote another werewolf or deliberately lose a pack challenge, stepping down gives your Sim a chance to enjoy werewolf life without all the responsibilities that come with being the pack leader.
