Tired of Smelly Pets in The Sims 4? Do This!

Your pets just love exploring the bushes in The Sims 4. But the problem is, they keep running into skunks.

You give them a quick bath, hoping it’ll solve the problem, but a few minutes later, they’re back to smelling awful again.

After getting sprayed by a skunk, your pets will be smelly for three days.

So, what can we do to prevent that from happening?

You might want to remove all the bushes from your lot or fence them off. They look nice, but it’s too tiresome when your pets constantly smell awful.

If there are lots of pets on your lot, those notifications about smelly odors will never stop.

Your dogs will get sprayed by skunks way too often. If you bath them, they’ll run into the bushes and get sprayed again, needing another bath.

Plus, your Sims are always uncomfortable around them because of the smell.

If your cat gets sprayed by a skunk, you can wait until they clean themselves out or take them to the vet.

Taking your cat to the vet for a check-up is the fastest way to remove the skunk smell. A check-up, some preventative care, and the stench should be gone.

The vet will act as a professional groomer and solve the problem.

Unfortunately, you can’t bathe cats in The Sims 4.

Happy Simming!
