Trouble in Love: Why Your Sims Won’t Woohoo and How to Solve It!

Having trouble getting your Sims in the mood? Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us! To help your Sims get busy, there are a few things you need to consider.

High Romance and Friendship

For woohoo to happen, your Sims need to be romantically involved. Make sure the Sims have a high enough romantic relationship level. They need to be boyfriend/girlfriend, engaged, or married to woohoo.

Check their green (friendship) and pink (romance) bars. A high romance bar is key!

Needs Satisfied

Even the most passionate Sims need their basic needs met. Make sure they’re not too hungry, tired, or uncomfortable before getting frisky.

Your Sims won’t want to woohoo if they are hungry, tired, or feeling bad. They need to be happy and comfortable first before they will think about woohooing.

Make sure all their other needs are met, like eating food, getting sleep, and feeling good.

If they are feeling bad, woohooing will be the last thing on their mind. Take care of their other needs first before trying to get them to woohoo.

Setting the Mood With Flirty Interactions

A little flirting goes a long way! Have your Sims interact romantically until they’re feeling flirty. This will increase their chances of wanting some woohoo.

Keep clicking through the romance interactions until the woohoo option appears at the end of the menu.

Fix Bed Accessibility Issues

Sims need space for their love life! Ensure your double bed is accessible from both sides. Walls or furniture blocking the way? Move things around to give them room.

Remember, if one side of the bed is up against a wall or blocked by furniture, the second Sim won’t be able to join them, meaning woohoo won’t happen.

Location, Location, Location (Alternative Woohoo Spots)

Maybe the bed is cursed? If woohoo in the double bed just isn’t happening, try another location like a closet, in the shower, even in a dumpster if you own Eco-Lifestyle.

Some Sims are adventurous!

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Restart the fun: Sometimes a simple game restart can fix glitches.
  • Upgrade your furniture: Maybe the bed is broken. Sell it and buy a new one.
  • Beware of mods: Some mods might interfere with woohoo. Try removing them to see if it helps.

Bonus Tip:

  •  Woohoo can be tiring! Be careful, adult Sims can actually die from too much woohoo.

Happy Simming! ❤️
