The Simfluencer is one of the two side hustles introduced with The Sims 4: High School Years. Your Sim can build a following by reviewing products, creating social media content, and selling outfits on Trendi.
To progress as a Simfluencer, focus on improving your Charisma and Entrepreneur skills.
You can build the Entrepreneur skill by reviewing lifestyle products.
Click on an eligible object, select Make Lifestyle Review, and then find the review file in your Sim’s inventory and select Upload Review File.
The Charisma skill can be improved by practicing speech in a mirror.
You should also stay active on Social Bunny and Trendi to increase your follower count. Attend events, meet other Sims, and post about your experiences on Social Bunny.
There are three levels in the Simfluencer career:
- Nano-Simfluencer
- Macro-Simfluencer
- Mega-Simfluencer
To become a Macro-Simfluencer, your Sim needs Level 2 Entrepreneur and Level 2 Charisma.
Nano-Simfluencers earn §36 per hour and receive Wednesdays and Sundays off.
To become a Mega-Simfluencer, your Sim needs Level 4 Entrepreneur and Level 4 Charisma.
Macro-Simfluencers earn §55 per hour, receive Wednesdays and Sundays off, and get a §500 promotion bonus.
They can also create technology reviews.
Mega-Simfluencers earn §74 per hour and receive a §900 promotion bonus and a Commercial Gift.
They also have Wednesdays and Sundays off.
Your Sim can receive several different daily tasks as they progress through the career.
These include:
Talk to a friend about the Simfluencer side hustle
Update your online bio with a business headshot
Craft a business plan
Review lifestyle products
Upload review files
Cross-promote at non-residential venues
Contact angel investors for extra funding
If your daily task asks you to cross-promote at a venue, travel to a non-residential lot.
Then open your Sim’s Phone, select Business, and choose Cross Promote at Venue.
The Simfluencer side hustle has two short work schedules: 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM or 9 PM to 11 PM.
The evening schedule can be easier to manage if your Sim is still attending high school. This allows them to attend school during the day and work on their Simfluencer career in the evening.
If your Sim works in the morning, they have less time to get ready before heading to Copperdale High at 8 AM.
You can also choose to have your teenage Sim drop out of high school if you want them to focus entirely on their Simfluencer career.
Being active on Social Bunny is one of the easiest ways to build your Sim’s following.
Post regularly, attend events, and interact with other Sims. You can also use Trendi to create and sell outfits while building your online following.
The more time your Sim spends creating content and interacting with other Sims, the easier it's to build their social media presence.
