Guidry is a helpful ghost in Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff, and you can actually make friends with him.
How to Summon Guidry
If your house is haunted, just wait for two days, and Guidry will appear around 9 PM.
If your house isn’t haunted, you can still summon Guidry by maxing out your Sims’ Medium skills. You can do this by doing rituals and using the Séance Table a lot.
Once your skills are high enough, you can summon Guidry using the Séance Table or a Séance Circle.
Guidry’s story is that he was once a famous paranormal investigator and notorious flirt. He died in a Murphy bed accident, hinted at by a painting showing his unfortunate end.
Now, he just hangs around, helping Sims who live in haunted houses. He will often repair the things that other ghosts broke in your Sim’s house.
After living in a haunted house for a week, you’ll unlock Guidry’s jacket, shoes, and hat, found in your Sim’s wardrobe.
Woohooing with Guidry
You can woohoo with Guidry, but you’ll need to use cheats. First, bring him back to life and add him to your household.
If your Sim is a spellcaster, you can use the Dedeathify spell to get the job done.
Alternatively, you can bring Guidry back to life by using the traits.remove_trait guidry cheat. This will remove his ghostly trait and turn him back into a human Sim.
Guidry will then lose his ghostly appearance, and then you can use regular interactions to woohoo with him.
Since he’s naturally flirty, convincing him to woohoo with your Sims should be easy.
Later, the game will generate a new Guidry to replace the one you added to your household.
The new ghost Guidry looks the same, while the original human Guidry continues to exist alongside him.
Marrying Guidry
You can marry Guidry the Ghost once you bring him back to life and make him part of your household. Your Sims can build a romantic relationship with him, which shouldn’t be hard since he’s always in a flirty mood.
As your relationship grows, you can eventually tie the knot and get married.
Having a Baby with Guidry
Unfortunately, ghosts can’t have babies in The Sims 4, even if Guidry is part of your household. There’s no “Try for Baby” option available.
However, if you use mods like MCCC, you can still have Guidry’s offspring.
Go to Create-a-Sim and choose the “Play with genetics” option. Then, with the MCCC mod, select the Sim you want to become pregnant and choose Guidry as the partner.
Keep in mind, the babies won’t be ghosts.
How to Impress Guidry
To impress Guidry, focus on maxing out the Medium skill to level 5. Show him your fascination with the paranormal world by performing rituals and interacting with ghosts.
Express your desire to become a Paranormal Investigator, and when the time is right, Guidry will reward you with an Investigator License.
Keep engaging with the paranormal activities, and Guidry will surely take notice.
If you got tired of Guidry and you want to stop his visits, use a Helping Hand statue and choose Disable Guidry Visits.
Guidry and Temperance
The relationship between Guidry and Temperance is tense. They were lovers, but things didn’t end well for them.
In My Wedding Stories, a message in a bottle from Guidry reveals that he left Temperance for her sister. That’s probably Bonehilda.
