The Sims 4: Grim Reaper Not Interested in You? Do THIS!

Whether or not you own the Life and Death expansion pack, you can woohoo the Grim Reaper. The tricky part is that he usually shows up completely uninterested in your Sim’s advances. Sometimes, physical affection can even be a turn-off for him, and he’s not interested in woohooing with anyone.

Luckily, there’s a way to work around it with a few cheats. The first step is to reset the Grim Reaper.

Make sure testingcheats is on. Then Shift-click on him and select Reset Sim. This is a reliable fix whenever he won’t respond to romance.

But if that doesn’t work, you can tweak his traits and woohoo interests, so romance becomes a lot easier.

  1. Open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C
  2. Then type testingcheats true and hit Enter
  3. Enter full edit mode by typing cas.fulleditmode
  4. Shift-click on Grim and add him to your household
  5. Shift-click on Grim, select Edit in CAS
  6. Change his traits, make him Romantic, Flirty, and Loyal
  7. Edit his woohoo interests to match your Sim’s preferences
  8. Save the changes and exit CAS
  9. Shift-click on Grim again and select Remove from family

He will continue to function as the official Grim Reaper, but now carries the traits and woohoo interests you applied.

Normally, the Grim Reaper can’t be romanced or edited. By adding him to your household, you can edit his traits so that it’s easier for your Sim to build a romantic relationship with him.

After taking him out of your household, he might temporarily lose the “Reaper” label because he was playable for a little while.

It’s a good idea to let him go right away. That way, the game can fix the label, and the next time he appears, he’ll be the official Grim Reaper, but with all the traits you set.

Happy Simming!
