Teen Sims who do exceptionally well in high school can graduate early in The Sims 4: High School Years. This lets them move on from high school and start preparing for their adult life sooner.
To become eligible for early graduation, your Sim needs to perform very well academically and participate in an extracurricular activity.
The easiest way to improve their grades is to make sure they:
- Go to school every day.
- Complete their homework.
- Do Extra Credit whenever it’s available.
- Keep their grades at A level.
- Join an after-school activity.
There are four after-school activities available at Copperdale High: Chess, Computer, Cheer, and Football. Your Sim can join any of them.
Once your Sim meets the requirements, they’ll become eligible for early graduation. You don’t need to immediately accept the offer.
They can continue attending high school if you want them to experience more of the High School Years gameplay.
Once your Sim becomes eligible, you’ll receive notifications letting you know that they can graduate early.
You may also receive reminders from other Sims encouraging your teen to take the opportunity. If you accept the early graduation offer, your Sim will graduate immediately.
You can then move on to the next stage of their life instead of continuing to attend high school.
Should You Graduate Early?
It really depends on how you’re playing your Sim.
If you’ve already experienced the high school gameplay you wanted, early graduation is a useful way to move your Sim into adulthood sooner.
On the other hand, there’s no need to rush. Your Sim can continue going to school after becoming eligible for early graduation, so you can keep working on their skills, friendships, extracurricular activities, and other High School Years features.
